Welcome to our cozy double room, "FiloSofia" nestled within the enchanting agriturismo "CasaViVa" in the picturesque Valdichiana region of Tuscany. 

"FiloSofia" is a room with a rich history, as it was once the old living room of the house, having a fireplace that of course we have kept in the restructuring. It holds a unique story that dates back to the dark days of World War II. During the Nazi occupation in July 1944, the room became a temporary dwelling for the Nazis themselves. During their presence, the nearby church of Pozzo della Chiana was tragically destroyed, while the house endured some damage, it miraculously remained standing, a testament to its strength and resilience.

The name "FiloSofia" is dedicated to our children, Filippo and Sofia, who despite their age, they have been able to adapt to such a radical change in life, leaving behind their "small" reality, friends, school/daycare and many of their references in Hamburg, including the language, to come here and start a life from scratch. This room symbolizes a tranquil sanctuary where guests can unwind, contemplate, and find wisdom in the beauty that surrounds them.

The décor is inspired by the natural elements of Tuscany, with subtle touches of rustic charm and contemporary elegance. You will find a cozy double bed inviting you to sink into a restful night's sleep.

- For families with a child up to twelve (12) years old, we offer the option for your child to sleep in an extra bed within the same double room for an additional charge of €30 per night.

- However, if you have a child over twelve (12) years old or more than one child under twelve (12) years old, an additional room will be necessary to accommodate your family.
